Calibration Engineer – Worcester

Salary: £29,666 to £34,290 per year, plus benefits including 8% pension contribution, private medical insurance, death in service package, full sick pay, 25 days holiday + bank holidays.

Role Summary: QA‑based Calibration Engineer responsible for calibration, maintenance and management of inspection & measurement equipment across the manufacturing facility, alongside data analysis, root‑cause investigation and continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate equipment to industry standards.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Maintain calibration equipment and supplies.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Conduct equipment repairs.
• Analyse reports and identify trends.
• Investigate root cause and create departmental systems and procedures.
• Maintain departmental systems, procedures and KPIs.
• Train others on on‑the‑job training.
• Implement Kaizen improvement projects for SQDCP.
• Maintain HSE standards and control 5S to a high standard.

Qualifications and Skills

• Mazak product knowledge (bonus).
