Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator

McKinty Associates are pleased to be working on behalf of a client with an immediate need for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate documentation and supporting overall financial operations.
Main duties will include:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor expenses
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, month-end procedures
- Maintain confidential data and financial information
- Perform general administrative duties
Eligibility criteria:
- Previous relevant experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role
- Experience in a hospitality and/or golf club environment (Desirable)
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Knowledge of financial procedures and record keeping
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
