Management Accountant

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Management Accountant to join a successful and growing organisation on an initial 12 month contract, with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent position.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and performance reports that support strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial accounts
• Production and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, including detailed variance analysis
• Presentation financial reports and insights to the management team
• Reviewing and improving existing accounting processes and controls to drive efficiencies and best practice
• Building strong relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders
• Providing guidance and support to finance and administrative teams
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function

About You:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong systems skills and proficiency across financial software and Microsoft Office applications
