Resource Provision Lead – Communication and Interaction

Lift Kingsley School seeks a primary registered teacher with expertise in special educational needs, ideally focusing on communication and interaction, to lead a brand‑new resource provision for students with communication and interaction needs. The role includes line managing the intervention provision and implementing a new teaching programme for approximately 18 KS3 students, with plans to expand to KS4 within two years.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, launch and delivery of the resource provision for students with communication and interaction needs.
  • Develop and facilitate a broad and balanced curriculum and provide high‑quality teaching and support for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Ensure personalised learning, support inclusion within mainstream classrooms, and collaborate with staff, families and external professionals.
  • Manage a dedicated team of specialists and drive the successful implementation of the provision.
  • Play a key role in developing and embedding a provision that makes a real difference and achieves the highest possible outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Primary registered teacher with statutory teaching qualifications.
  • Experience in special educational needs with a focus on communication and interaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, and to deliver a curriculum to programme standards.
  • Strong commitment to inclusive practice and a track record of supporting pupils with EHCPs.
