Assembly Technician

Assembly Technician – Syntegon (Kliklok)

We are looking for a motivated Assembly Technician with an electrical background, who enjoys getting hands‑on and thrives in a close‑knit team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire components and complete machines.
• Build subassemblies, machine panels, and wiring.
• Apply and verify electrical bias during testing and commissioning to ensure correct functionality of electrical components and systems.
• Complete quality documentation and identify improvement opportunities.
• Operate lifting and handling equipment (after training).
• Contribute to improvements and support 5S and safety initiatives on the shop floor.
• Help achieve the operational goals of the assembly department.

Qualifications

• Completed electrical qualification (required).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand Bills of Materials.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly in a machine‑building environment.
• Understanding of electrical biasing principles and their impact on system performance.
• Good technical skills and dexterity to work with a variety of parts, including sheet metal, machined, and electrical components.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and computer literacy.
• A forklift license and knowledge of Lean manufacturing are a plus.
