Solutions Architect (CISSP, TOGAF, CCSP) in Stoke-on-Trent)

Overview

Solutions Architect – Security focused role in a client‑facing environment, delivering cutting‑edge, high‑security solutions for a successful, established MSP.

Responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end solutions that address clients’ needs, including security considerations.
• Develop detailed architecture diagrams, technical specifications and implementation plans to guide solution delivery.
• Prepare technical proposals and solutions in response to customer RFI’s & RFPs.
• Translate business requirements, technical challenges and security considerations into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with sales, project management and engineering teams to align solutions with business goals.
• Lead workshops, presentations and demonstrations to showcase solutions and gain stakeholder buy‑in.
• Identify the best solutions for client requirements and evaluate security posture and compliance, ensuring regulatory standards.
• Participate in solutions implementation and integration, providing technical oversight and support.
• Continuously improve and identify opportunities for innovation and enhancements to existing solutions.
• Mentor and coach team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar field.
• Certifications in security such as CISSP, TOGAF, CCSP; ITIL4 is desirable.
• Successful track record of designing and delivering complex security solutions, including secure messaging, file sharing, video conferencing and information assurance.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Must be SC cleared or able to obtain SC and eventually DV clearance.

Technical Skills

• Solution design, modelling tools, enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Virtualization, networking and cyber security tools.
