Senior Design Mechanical Engineer required
Role
My client is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer based around the Northamptonshire area. The position will not only be “hands on” and will involve a heavy design involvement as well as being the “Lead Design Engineer” on many projects. Candidates will have to show a broad knowledge of all sectors including Health, Education, Commercial, and Industrial. The position is mechanically biased, but the candidate will have a basic understanding of both Electrical and public Health systems and the design principles involved. The ideal candidate will have 2 or 3 previous employers, with career progression being the main reason for moving to a new employer.
Qualifications
- 10 years experience
- HNC design qualification
- CYMAP/TAS experience
- Hand calculations experience required
Skills
Delivering integrated designs in accordance with the design programme. Managing a team in accordance with company QA policies. Building strong relationships and leading by example. Represent the company at post tender interviews. Investigate and evaluate new methods and technologies. Support / mentor trainees and other team members.
Salary
