The Opportunity
You will lead the delivery of water and environmental projects and programmes of varying scale and complexity, taking accountability for schedules, budgets, resources, and risk management. You will serve as the primary client contact, building trusted relationships and communicating effectively with all stakeholders. Operating in a complex delivery environment, you will drive performance, encourage agile ways of working, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and welfare legislation.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will bring immediate value through a proven ability to translate complex client requirements into successful project outcomes. Strong commercial awareness and technical understanding will enable you to lead multidisciplinary teams with confidence, delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget. You will demonstrate strong relationship‑building skills, fostering trust with clients across public and private sectors and positioning Jacobs as a valued partner. A proactive approach to risk management and change control will help protect project success while identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement. Your leadership will support the creation of high‑performing, inclusive teams where collaboration and knowledge sharing thrive. By mentoring junior team members and promoting continuous improvement, you will strengthen project management capability and contribute to a culture of excellence. You will also step into Project Executive roles across projects of varying scale, adding value through strategic oversight, strong stakeholder engagement, and delivery leadership at both operational and executive levels.
Requirements
- Proven project management experience across a range of projects in a multidisciplinary environment (Infrastructure/Water/Design and Build)
- Strong leadership experience managing teams and driving delivery performance
- Demonstrable expertise in project planning, risk management, budget and resource management, and contract management
- Degree in engineering, environmental sciences, project management, or a related discipline
- Project Management Qualifications: APM PMQ, Prince 2 APM ChPP, NEC ECC PM (Desirable)
