Senior Design Engineer – Geotechnical Infrastructure

Are you an experienced Senior Design Engineer who can support technical delivery activities across infrastructure projects within structural disciplines? NES Fircroft have been exclusively retained by a market leader who is looking for a skilled professional to support the engineering design, technical coordination and multidisciplinary delivery activities within contractor-led environments.

As the Senior Design Engineer focusing on Structural Infrastructure, your key responsibilities will involve:

• Support design development and technical delivery activities within structural infrastructure.
• Undertake engineering calculations and technical assessments.
• Prepare and review technical deliverables.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external designers.
• Participate in technical reviews and design coordination meetings.
• Support buildability and engineering risk review activities.
• Ensure compliance with CDM and engineering assurance requirements.

To be successful in this Senior Design Engineer role, you will need:

• Degree qualified engineer in structural infrastructure design engineering.
• Around 5+ years’ experience.
• Experience undertaking engineering calculations.
• UK infrastructure experience preferred.
• Working towards chartership.
• Experience within contractor-led or design and build environments beneficial.
