Mechanical Test Engineer

Our well-established client are recruiting for a Test Engineer to join their growing team.

Test Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for carrying out testing, calibration, and pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used equipment
• Testing and calibration of refuelling equipment and vehicles
• Working with pneumatic and basic hydraulic systems
• Filter replacement and servicing
• Meter calibration
• General assembly and mechanical work
• Inspection and cleaning of fuel tanks following training

The ideal Test Engineering will have:

• Previous experience testing mechanical equipment
• Some mechanical maintenance experience
• Worked on similar equipment, HGV’s, plant, heavy machinery (Preferred)
• Hydraulic and pneumatic testing experience

Test Engineering working hours:

• 40 Hour week
• Monday to Thursday 07:30– 16:30, Friday 07:30 – 14:00
• 23 days holiday + bank holidays
• Overtime paid at 1.5 x rate
• £70 per month attendance/tool bonus
