Excellent opportunity for experienced Bench Hand Joiners/Cabinet Makers to join a well-established company based in Denton, Manchester. Salary: Competitive, Depending on Experience.
The Company
Our team specialises in working with hardwoods, veneered boards, laminate, solid surface finishes, granite, glass, stainless steel and other selected materials. We manufacture bespoke reception counters, bars, back fittings, commercial office furniture, IPS sets, vanity units, door sets and other bespoke joinery for student accommodation, train stations, holiday parks, hotels, universities, schools, commercial buildings and retail.
From our fully equipped workshop in Manchester we service the whole of the UK, providing surveying, cost management, bespoke quotations, CAD setting‑out and project management.
Roles & Requirements
- Experienced bench hand joiner (5–7 years of experience). City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 in joinery/shopfitting required.
- Ability to read CAD setting‑out drawings and work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience with high‑quality finishes using laminates, veneered boards and hardwoods.
- Working with solid surfaces is an advantage; training will be provided if needed.
- Ready to conduct local installation of joinery works and, if applicable, perform fixing work.
- Highly motivated, honest and reliable with strong work ethic.
- Freelance/self‑employed bench hand joiners are invited to apply.
- Salary: £16.00–18.00 per hour plus additional overtime rates.
