The position of Facilities Services Senior Admin Co‑ordinator is available within the Estates Department at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. The closing date for applications is 19 July 2026.

Working hours are Tuesday to Friday 10.00‑am to 4.00‑pm. Some flexibility may be required depending on service provision.

Role Summary

The Senior Facilities Administrator will issue identification badges, manage access control, coordinate minutes and action logs, and support meeting chairs in producing robust documentation. The role involves working closely with a team of six administrators, greeting contractors, handling maintenance calls, and ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. The position requires prioritisation of workload and cover for annual leave to maintain service continuity and resilience.

Main Duties

  • Process staff identification badge requests and maintain appropriate access levels per Trust policies.
  • Organise and facilitate meetings and events, producing agendas, minutes and action notes.
  • Manage diaries and ensure staff meet their meeting arrangements, using Teams and M365 Copilot.
  • Scribe correspondence and reports, drafting and typing letters as needed.
  • Book meetings proactively for the following year and maintain records of meetings booked.
  • Provide general administrative support within a busy office environment.
