Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the Medicines Value Unit (MVU) and a multidisciplinary team to improve efficiencies and timeliness in the delivery of access to medicines across Wales. Assist in the delivery of safe, high quality services while maintaining financial balance. Manipulate and analyse diverse data sets to identify and implement service improvements.
- Support the All Wales Therapeutics and Toxicology Centre (AWTTC) in medicines optimisation projects, prescribing analysis, and monitoring of medicines.
- Develop and implement strategic prescribing decisions for the All Wales Medicines Strategy Group (AWMSG).
- Streamline processes to enhance patient safety and service quality.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience.
- Project management qualification, ideally within a healthcare setting.
Experience
- Management of healthcare projects or equivalent.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and data manipulation abilities.
- Experience leading and working effectively in a team.
Knowledge
- Understanding of strategic medicines development and implementation across services.
Other Requirements
- Fluency in Welsh desirable, but English speakers are also welcome.
- Disclosure and Barring Service check required under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.

£50,129 to £57,365 per annum pro rata
