Mobile Engineer

Salary: £130,000 – 143,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience using Kotlin for Android development
• Experience with Android architecture patterns
• Strong understanding of SOLID design principles
• Experience with unit testing using JUnit and Mockito
• Experience with UI automation testing using Espresso
• Proven experience mentoring and guiding other engineers
• Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for mobile applications that meet business and user needs
• Optimise existing mobile app functionality to improve performance and user experience
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver quality mobile apps
• Participate in technical discussions to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and fit for purpose
• Mentor and guide other engineers to maintain high coding standards and best practices
• Work closely with engineering teams to contribute to the development of best-in-class mobile apps
