SAP Implementation Lead – Contract

Location: London / Hybrid

Rate: Day rate (outside IR35 – TBC rate)

Duration: Initial contract with extension potential

We’re supporting a major organisation embarking on a critical SAP data migration and HRIS transformation programme and are looking for an experienced SAP Implementation Lead to join the programme on a contract basis. This role is suited to a hands‑on SAP delivery lead who can take ownership of the data workstream, operate as the SAP SME, and drive delivery from early planning through cutover and stabilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end SAP data migration, including strategy, extraction, transformation, validation and cutover
• Act as the SAP SME across the programme, working closely with HR, IT and programme leadership
• Coordinate systems integrators, internal stakeholders, and offshore delivery teams
• Establish control of the SAP data workstream and mitigate delivery risk
• Support HR / HRIS implementation activity with close alignment to payroll and finance

Required experience

• Proven experience leading SAP implementations and data migration programmes
• Strong understanding of SAP data models, including master and transactional data
• Comfortable in a hands‑on delivery role, not purely governance or PM‑led
• Experience working with offshore / non‑UK based teams
• Background delivering SAP programmes in complex, enterprise environments
