YOUR ROLE:
As part of our growth agenda, we are seeking a Director in Healthcare at Capgemini Invent. You will autonomously scope and lead complex programmes for clients, demonstrate strong commercial acumen through business development, contribute to internal initiatives, and develop your team from a skills and capability perspective.
- Help clients realise their strategic transformation agenda through leading insight and exceptional delivery. Stay up‑to‑date on Public Sector trends and be a recognised subject‑matter expert in Healthcare.
- Develop deep, trust‑based relationships with clients in a sell‑deliver model.
- Leverage the power of the global Capgemini organisation to improve account delivery and client success.
- Collaborate with the Public Sector leadership team to build and support a diverse team committed to delivering the best outcomes for every client.
- Support Capgemini Invent’s market offerings by writing propositions that reflect our position as a leading public sector management consultancy.
- Business Development – Lead/contribute to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitches, and client hosting at events.
- Internal Contribution – Develop campaigns, internal think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice operations, recruitment, team events, offering development, partnerships, and alliances.
- Learning & Development – Participate in training to support career development and skill demand, including certifications.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Passion for healthcare in both the Public and Private Sectors and a keen interest in making a positive difference for society.
- Direct NHS consultancy and digital transformation experience at a senior level, including complex delivery (operational and/or clinical) and team leadership.
- Background from a management consulting practice or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing and leading large‑scale, complex programme management and transformation initiatives in the Public Sector.
- Currently working in a major consulting firm or industry with a consulting background.
- Proven ability to succeed in a matrixed organisation and to enlist support from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
- Experience in proposition building and delivery.
- Business development – Utilize a combination of existing relationships and your network to generate approximately £2 million of consulting revenues annually.
