Senior Property Solicitor – 10+ years PQE

Salary: Basic of £70,000 plus bonus making an income of approx £110,000.

Our client, a highly regarded multi‑practice law firm with 12 offices nationwide and a strong UK presence, is seeking an experienced Senior Property Solicitor with over 10 years PQE to lead and oversee its growing conveyancing team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Property Solicitor with over 10 years PQE looking to take the next step into a leadership position as Head of Department, with responsibility for managing, developing, and supporting a well‑established and respected team within a successful and forward‑thinking firm.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the conveyancing team as Head of Department.
  • Manage, develop, and support team members, ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
  • Advisory work on sale and purchase, leasehold, new build, re‑mortgage, equity release, and transfer of equity transactions.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
  • Collaborate with other practice areas to provide integrated client solutions.
  • Maintain accurate case files and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years PQE as a qualified solicitor.
  • Extensive experience in conveyancing, sale and purchase, re‑mortgage, equity release, and transfer of equity.
  • Strong leadership and team‑management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client‑relationship skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Knowledge of current legislation and regulatory requirements.
