Head of People & Culture

Most HR roles focus on policies, processes, and compliance.

This isn’t one of them.

We’re supporting a well-established manufacturing business that is entering an exciting new phase of growth, transformation, and operational improvement. With ambitious plans for the future, the business is looking for a Head of People & Culture who can help shape how the organisation performs through stronger leadership, clearer accountability, and a high-performance culture.

This is a genuine executive leadership opportunity reporting directly to the CEO and sitting as part of the Executive Leadership Team.

The Opportunity

The business already has strong foundations. What they are looking for now is someone who can help elevate performance across the organisation by:

• Building leadership capability across all levels

• Embedding accountability and ownership throughout the business

• Creating a structured approach to performance management

• Identifying and developing future leaders

• Driving employee engagement and organisational effectiveness

• Supporting the adoption of technology, automation, and AI to improve productivity

• Ensuring people strategy is aligned to business growth objectives

This role offers the opportunity to influence far more than HR.

You will play a key role in helping shape the future direction of the organisation, supporting a business that is investing heavily in innovation, operational excellence, sustainability, and long-term growth.

What We’re Looking For

We would love to speak with individuals who can demonstrate:

• Senior HR or People leadership experience within manufacturing, engineering, construction, industrial, or operational environments

• Experience operating at executive or senior leadership level

• A track record of driving organisational performance and cultural change

• Strong leadership coaching and stakeholder influencing skills

• Commercial awareness and an understanding of productivity, operational performance, and business outcomes

• Confidence challenging senior leaders and driving accountability

• Experience implementing performance management and leadership development frameworks

The Person

This role will suit someone who:

• Thinks commercially rather than transactionally

• Focuses on outcomes rather than activity

• Is comfortable leading change and transformation

• Enjoys building capability and raising standards

• Can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

• Wants to make a visible and lasting impact on a growing organisation

Why Apply?

• Executive Leadership Team position

• Direct access to CEO and Board-level influence

• Opportunity to shape culture and performance across an established business

• Significant scope to create meaningful organisational change

• Competitive salary, bonus, and benefits package

• Long-term opportunity within a successful and ambitious organisation

If you’re looking for a role where you can genuinely influence business performance through people, leadership, and culture, we’d love to hear from you.
