EMEA Head of KYC – Executive Director

Role Summary
We are looking for an EMEA Head of KYC, Executive Director for our Operations and Administration Department to join our Financial Crime Middle Office Team. The successful candidate will manage the KYC teams across the EMEA region (circa 280 staff), working with the local KYC teams, Compliance and Marketing teams to drive transformation, simplification, speed and quality of KYC Onboarding, Periodic Reviews, Event Driven Reviews and the Enhanced Due Diligence processes. They will also improve the Internal Control framework of the Bank, as part of the First Line of Defence by monitoring quality of controls in terms of mitigating risks, and subsequent impacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver to appropriate SLAs/KPIs, Compliance Standards, Policies and Procedures.
- Work in partnership with QA, 2nd and 3rd Lines of Defence to assist with internal reviews and implement any subsequent findings in a timely manner.
- Act as Relationship Managers to the Front Office business units and have a good understanding of their strategies, growth targets and positive working relationships.

- Excellent understanding of the regulatory framework associated with all aspects of Financial Crime and previous leadership experience within a KYC capability is essential.
- An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, peers and more senior management, to influence decision making, behaviours and cultures so that identified recommendations are effectively deployed.
