Senior Governance & Scrutiny Lead – Statutory Officer

Gmca is seeking a Statutory Scrutiny Officer & Deputy Head of Governance & Scrutiny in Greater Manchester. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence democratic accountability and ensure robust decision-making while working closely with key stakeholders.

As part of the role, you’ll lead scrutiny functions, support the Mayor, and contribute to developing new approaches to scrutiny in a fast-moving environment. We’re looking for individuals with strong governance experience, political awareness, and exceptional communication skills.
