Data Scientist – Zapp

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end data pipelines with dbt and Airflow to support analytics and ML workloads.
• Build and validate predictive models in Python, leveraging SQL and BigQuery for data extraction and feature engineering.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business questions into data solutions and actionable insights.
• Maintain model performance monitoring, retraining schedules, and documentation for reproducibility.
• Advise stakeholders on data quality, governance, and best practices for data‑driven decision making.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Engineer in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and BigQuery; hands‑on experience with dbt and Airflow.
• Solid background in machine learning, statistical modeling, and feature engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., GCP) and modern data stack tools is a plus.
