About the Role

Shifts for this role are early (8am-3:30pm) and late (2:30pm-10pm). This is a fixed‑term contract for 12 months.

As a Quality Assurance Officer you will be responsible for the final release of aseptically compounded products, checking batch manufacturing records against orders, prescriptions and stability data, ensuring GMP is followed throughout the compounding process and performing physical checks of finished compounded products. You will also identify hazards within the manufacturing process and at final release, resolve issues with the advice of the QA manager, and act where appropriate. About You

To be successful you will need either previous experience as a registered pharmacy technician or a graduate (or equivalent) in a biological/pharmaceutical‑related science. It is essential that you have previous GMP experience, preferably in a laboratory environment. As the position involves repetitive checking of batch manufacturing records, the ability to focus and meet tight deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail is a must. You will have effective written and verbal communication skills and be a competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel.
