Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Establish the services and equipment that need to be sourced and liaise with the sales manager internally to discuss purchasing requirements.
  • Prioritise and take action on incoming purchase requests; liaise with local branch and third parties to review and clarify requirements.
  • Maintain good client and supplier relationships.
  • Negotiate prices and contract terms with existing suppliers and research for new suppliers.
  • Provide quotations within the required period to the originating parties, and place orders to the providers.
  • Provide simple technical solutions, drawing up accurate RFP based on client’s or business partner’s original requirements; provide detailed solutions by presales, carry out surveys and assess bids from suppliers.
  • Serve as the point of contact between the sales manager and suppliers and regularly check the quality of the services rendered and equipment purchased.
  • Work with Headquarters Service Delivery Department and local branches to update on-net pricing in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Asia via the internal provisioning system.
  • Work closely with internal account manager and technical manager to develop a deep understanding of the challenges faced by clients, and also provide and review pricing for the account manager on a regular basis.
  • Handle purchased products mainly related to Telecommunication Carrier Products, e.g., leased line products, Internet access products; also require ICT services from local ICT integrators.
  • Resolve difficulties such as scheduling, resource allocation during delivery; liaise with sales and network departments to determine procurement requirements for each project.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Good knowledge of Telecoms and Project Management.
  • Experience in Administration and Project Management.
  • Good team spirit, openness to diverse workforce, familiar with both Chinese and British business culture.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with local branch and Head Office in Mainland China and Hong Kong.
  • Excellent supplier and contract management skills in the Telecom industry.
  • Master’s Degree in IT or Telecoms highly desirable.
