Senior Project Manager – Health Innovation & Transformation
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex innovation, transformation, and improvement programmes across healthcare settings.
This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of projects spanning innovation adoption, service improvement, digital transformation, evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and business development. Working across multiple workstreams, you will collaborate with healthcare providers, industry partners, academic organisations, and system leaders to drive measurable improvements in patient care and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of multiple programmes and projects from initiation through to implementation and evaluation.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across healthcare, industry, academic, and public sector organisations.
- Support the identification and development of funding, partnership, and income‑generation opportunities.
- Design and oversee project plans, reporting frameworks, performance monitoring, and impact evaluations.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and engagement activities with senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
- Apply quality improvement, change management, and implementation methodologies to support successful innovation adoption.
- Analyse and interpret complex qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision‑making and demonstrate impact.
- Lead project governance, risk management, reporting, and resource planning activities.
- Contribute to business planning, strategic development, and organisational improvement initiatives.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to project teams within a matrix‑management environment.
About You
You will have:
- Significant experience delivering complex projects or programmes within healthcare, life sciences, innovation, research, or transformation environments.
- Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and organisational skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and workstreams simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience using data, evaluation, and performance metrics to drive decision‑making and demonstrate impact.
- Knowledge of quality improvement, implementation, change management, or service redesign methodologies.
- A degree‑level qualification and either a project management qualification or equivalent practical experience.
