Shift Leader rate of pay starts from £15.59 an hour.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week; you may choose to work as few as 12 hours.

Responsibilities
- Work in a fast‑paced retail environment with a variety of tasks.
- Take ownership of running duty shifts and coordinate the team to deliver a clean, well‑stocked store that exceeds customer expectations.
- Guide and support colleagues in‑store, ensuring a safe place to work and shop.
- Maintain understanding of store performance and assist managers with actions to improve operations.
- Lead from the front and set a great example for the team.
- Co‑ordinate store improvements, remove obstacles, and support seasonal, community and charity events.
- Follow health and safety routines and procedures, and ensure colleagues do the same.
- Communicate clearly with the team and keep them informed of changes or updates.
- Keep the store clean, tidy, and well‑presented.
- Assist in opening, closing, and completing duty cover.
- Take the lead when the manager is absent and answer day‑to‑day queries.
- Listen to customers and deliver the best experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum age 18+; require a valid school leaver’s age.
- Ability to give thoughtful customer service and coach colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to keep the team informed.
- Comfortable taking the lead and overseeing the store in the manager’s absence.
- Good decision maker able to handle change and make flexible plans.
- Motivational and inspiring to the team.
- Curious and always looking for ideas to serve customers, communities and the planet.
