Securitas’ Risk Intelligence Center (RIC) delivers actionable intelligence on the global security & threat landscape, providing decision‑making advantage and confidence to protect people, property and assets and to help make the world a safer place.

The RIC is part of Securitas’ new business unit, Security Risk Management (SRM), which is a holistic, intelligence‑led approach to identifying, understanding, monitoring and acting on risks specific to each client.

The RIC is currently recruiting for a Risk Intelligence Analyst to join its fast‑growing Consultancy team. As a Risk Intelligence Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to proactively identify and mitigate security threats through comprehensive analysis and strategic insights.

  • Collection, processing, and analysis of data and information to support the production of intelligence products
  • Shape intelligence outputs and meet stakeholder expectations in a fast‑paced environment
  • £35-40k per year
  • 4 on, 4 off (0700-1900)
  • Based in Milton Keynes (in office).

Essential Requirements

  • Must have the right to work in the UK and have a five‑year checkable employment history, or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment
  • Must live within a 45‑minute commute to the office in Milton Keynes, or be willing to relocate
  • Must have at least 1‑2 years of experience in intelligence or intelligence‑related analytical role
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English to deliver intelligence reports to various audience levels
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage openly, professionally, and with warmth in day‑to‑day collaboration.
  • Ability to prioritise and plan work and manage time effectively to meet objectives and deadlines, while remaining calm under pressure.
  • The ability to embody and uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Responsibilities

  • Direction of intelligence efforts based on instruction from managers and seniors, colleagues, and clients, and based on own identification and initiative.
  • Collection of data and information, including use of intelligence tools, and manual processes including research.
  • Processing of intelligence into databases, forms, logs, systems, templates etc.
  • Analysis of data and information using recognised intelligence techniques and supporting seniors with more complex and/or demanding efforts.
  • Production of finished intelligence products autonomously, or with support / supporting seniors, including alerts, assessment reports and investigations; both written products and verbal presentations.
  • Dissemination of intelligence products to stakeholders, including internally within Securitas and commercially to customers both in the UK and overseas.
  • Support management and drive operational excellence through ongoing evaluation and feedback of intelligence services, maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Maintain ongoing service development by staying aware of innovation within intelligence to ensure implementation of latest techniques and best practice.
  • Prioritise and manage workloads for customer projects with various timeframes.
  • Work autonomously without direct supervision in dynamic situations.
  • Act as a central point of contact, manage expectations and enable collaboration with other RIC resources, teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Support the development of new research sources and methods to keep intelligence current.
  • Provide guidance to junior colleagues to maximise development, efficiency, and morale.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Securitas organisation, including client‑facing staff and global colleagues.
  • Challenge the status‑quo when partnered with internal stakeholders.
  • Build an intelligence network through liaison with colleagues, stakeholders, and agencies both internally and externally in the UK and internationally.
  • Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, and consider safety as a priority.
