Salary Circa £47k-£52k depending on skills and experience + Car Allowance
Permanent, Full time, 37 hours with flexibility for part time
Location: Isleham/Newmarket and surrounding area – Travel across the Anglian Water region may be required.
Hybrid working – Expectation is 2/3 days a week on site, 2/3 from home.

About the Role
Anglian Water is searching for a dedicated and skilled Project Engineer to join our growing Maintenance Delivery team and help ensure the efficient delivery of capital programmes across our Water Supply assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Capital Maintenance Delivery: Support the end-to-end capital delivery process, ensuring maximum risk reduction and value for expenditure.
- Programme Delivery: Coordinate and support the execution of regional maintenance programmes, ensuring accurate asset data management and monthly reporting.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively engage with all stakeholders, ensuring the accuracy of project data and capturing efficiency data.
- Health and Safety: Complete and comply with all operational site H&S requirements, undertake H&S audits, and produce CDM documentation.
- Safer Every Day: Drive a culture of continuous improvement in Health & Safety, ensuring consistent H&S standards are maintained.
Qualifications & Experience
- Appropriate engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations
- Strong IT literacy and commercial acumen
- Experience managing a capital budget and resource planning
- Experience within the water or wastewater environment (desirable not essential)
