Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Hybrid Working: 3 days per week required in the office in London

DGH Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an industry leading client in the Sports industry who are looking for an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join the team on an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract as part of an ongoing digital transformation programme.

Responsibilities

• Operational management and implementation of scalable and secure Azure environments.
• Work closely with the Cloud Solution Architect to deliver new services in Azure.
• Utilise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to deploy and manage Azure resources (infrastructure not applications).
• Ensure Azure Well Architected Framework best practices are followed.
• Implement identity and access management using Entra ID, RBAC, PIM.
• Set up monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights.
• Configure VNets, Subnets, NSGs, VPNs and ExpressRoute.
• Implement Business Continuity plans using Azure Backup and Site Recovery.
• Work with developers, operations and security teams to align infrastructure needs.

Required Skills / Experience

• Azure Well Architected Framework / Cloud Adoption Framework
• IaC: DevOps, Bicep
• Network: VWAN, ExpressRoute, VPN, DNS, Application Gateway
• Network Security: Firewall, NSG’s, Private Links, Routing
• Azure Monitor and Policy
• Storage: Disk, Blob, Files
