Engineering Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Solution Architect to lead a large-scale migration from a SaaS-based platform to on-premise infrastructure for a major financial services organisation. This is a strategically important engagement requiring strong technical leadership and hands‑on experience running point on complex platform migrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the end-to-end migration strategy and target architecture for transitioning core systems.
• Assess current SaaS-based setup, identify dependencies, risks, and constraints, and produce a clear roadmap.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure technical soundness and compliance.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact, providing direction to delivery teams and keeping stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and key decisions.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or senior engineering role.
• Hands‑on expertise in SaaS-to-on‑premise migrations or similar infrastructure transitions.
• Strong knowledge of on‑premise infrastructure design (networking, storage, security, deployment).
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, with compliance and operational resilience requirements.
• Ability to assess complex systems and translate findings into actionable migration plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
• Familiarity with core banking or wealth management platforms is a plus.
