Job Description:

This role requires an experienced professional to develop, write and maintain the Data Centre Operations Manual and Procedures. The manual will cover a comprehensive set of operational tasks, including WAN, firewall, load balancer, workload integration, data plane policing, alert management, storage procedures, and Oracle hardware.

Responsibilities

• WAN Connectivity Management: adding remote locations, routing, WAN encryption, aggregation
• Firewall Administration: create, modify, decommission
• Load Balancer Administration: create, modify, decommission
• Workload integration: adding new devices to the fabric
• Data Plane policing: modify bandwidth consumption policies, QoS settings
• Alert Management: process monitoring traps

Storage

• Create and update procedures for firmware upgrades
• Create and update procedures for storage fault management
• Create and update procedures for user account management
• Create and update procedures for network interface management

Oracle Hardware – where Databases reside

• Create and update procedures for T7-4 and M12 hardware based on current T4/T5 and M8000 requirements
