DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a world-leading defence and security organisation.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work on mission-critical cloud solutions, collaborating with National Security customers to develop and maintain secure, scalable systems using modern AWS technologies.

As a DevOps Engineer you will get the opportunity to:

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain applications and services within AWS environments, working closely with end users to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes, improving system performance, reliability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to solve complex challenges and deliver innovative cloud-based solutions.

Experience you’ll need as a DevOps Engineer:

• Experience in AWS and experience in solving complex business issues
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS, KMS, ELB, SNS, SQS, IAM
• Scripting abilities with languages such as Python, Bash or Shell
• Experience working in an Agile environment (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, etc)
• Security Clearance is required for this vacancy. If you are not currently Security Cleared, you will need to be eligible for this and willing to go through the process.
