Java Developer

Duration: 6 Months Contract (OR) Permanent Role

Experience Level

Responsibilities

• Requirement analysis and impact analysis of the changes
• Provide estimates for the changes
• Document the technical design document
• Make the necessary code changes and maintain the code in the version control tool used by the client as per coding standard
• Carry out unit testing of the deliverables
• Preparing and conducting handover of changes to Production Support
• Carry out in bug fixes where necessary
• Support for live deployment and post go-live warranty

Required Technical Skills

• Database: Oracle, Sql, PLSql
• Managing Tools: GIT, Jira

Required Soft Skills

• The candidate must be client facing
• The candidate must be able to work to tight deadlines
• The candidate must be able to write well-structured source code and comment it appropriately
• The candidate must be a team player but also be able to work under own initiative
• The candidate must have good communication skills
• The candidate must be able to discuss topics in both technical details and at a high level
• The candidate must be able to provide accurate status reporting on assigned tasks
• The candidate must be able to work collaboratively with other project team members
