About the role
We’re looking for a creative and culturally connected Social Media & Partnerships Manager to help make Reskinned the go-to destination for people who believe great clothes deserve a longer life.
Reporting into the Marketing Director, you’ll lead Reskinned’s organic social channels, shaping our content strategy, creating engaging social‑first storytelling, and building a community that is passionate about style, sustainability, and keeping quality clothing in circulation. You’ll also play a key role in identifying and developing partnerships with like‑minded brands, creators, and communities that share our mission – bringing collaborations to life through content, campaigns, events, and innovative activations.
This role is for someone who understands that social media is about far more than publishing content. It’s about shaping culture, sparking conversations, and inspiring people to think differently about the way they shop, wear, and value their clothes. We’re looking for someone who is plugged into trends, passionate about fashion and sustainability, full of ideas, and excited to experiment, test, and build something meaningful.
What you’ll be doing
- Support the Marketing Director in leading and evolving Reskinned’s social media strategy, with a primary focus on Instagram and TikTok, alongside activity across YouTube and LinkedIn and other relevant emerging platforms.
- Own and manage the social content calendar, ensuring all activity is aligned with broader brand, marketing and community initiatives centred on extending the life of clothing with takeback and driving engagement with pre‑loved fashion.
- Develop distinctive content pillars, recurring formats and creative storytelling ideas that position Reskinned as the leading voice in circular fashion and keeping great clothes in circulation.
- Create engaging, social‑first content yourself: photography, short‑form video and copy that inspires audiences to rethink how they buy, wear and value clothing.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to streamline, enhance content creation and unlock new creative opportunities – or equally open and eager to learn and experiment with emerging AI tools.
- Manage day‑to‑day community engagement, fostering meaningful conversations around pre‑loved fashion, sustainability and circularity.
- Track, analyse and share social performance insights with the wider business, using learnings to continuously refine content, tone and channel strategy.
- Stay closely connected to cultural trends, platform innovations and emerging content formats to keep Reskinned’s storytelling fresh, relevant and distinctive – helping educate the wider team on the evolving social landscape.
- Support the growth of a thriving community of Reskinned customers and advocates, both online and offline, including events and experiences that celebrate circular fashion and encourage participation.
- Work with the Marketing Director to identify and deliver partnerships, collaborations and activations with like‑minded brands and creators that support awareness, engagement and customer acquisition.
- Build and nurture relationships with creators, influencers, partners, managing communications across email while coordinating gifting, product sampling and activation initiatives to drive engagement and advocacy for Reskinned.
- As a key member of a fast‑moving brand marketing team, be flexible and hands‑on in supporting wider campaign activity during key moments across the calendar.
What we’re looking for
- 3–5+ years’ experience in social media within a lifestyle, fashion, culture or consumer‑facing brand, ideally in fast‑paced or growth‑stage environments.
- Deep, hands‑on understanding of Instagram and TikTok, including platform trends, native storytelling formats, and what drives engagement and community growth.
- Highly creative and ideas‑led, with the ability to turn concepts into compelling, social‑first content quickly and confidently.
- Strong content creation skills, including filming, editing and producing short‑form video, with experience using tools such as CapCut and Canva.
- Comfortable operating in a startup environment – adaptable, resourceful, and excited by rolling up your sleeves across a broad range of work.
- Strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and bring campaigns, content and collaborations to life from idea through to execution.
- Solid understanding of social analytics, with the ability to interpret performance data and turn insights into actionable improvements.
- Excellent copywriting instincts and a strong feel for tone of voice, storytelling and culturally relevant communication.
- Above all, a genuine passion for fashion, creativity and culture – and a belief in keeping great clothes in circulation through a more circular, sustainable approach to style.
