Flexible Working Pattern

The Construction Readiness Manager plays a critical assurance role within the EA2 execution team, ensuring that all offshore works commence only when the necessary technical, safety, environmental, marine, contractual and organisational controls have been met. This role provides independent oversight, facilitation, and governance across all project packages, ensuring that the Construction Readiness Assessment (CRA) process is delivered in accordance with Iberdrola’s defined procedures and that the project maintains safe, efficient, and compliant delivery as it enters major offshore operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and coordinate the Construction Readiness Assessment (CRA) process across all EA2 packages, ensuring the safe, compliant, and timely commencement of offshore works. Facilitate cross-functional readiness reviews with Engineering, HSEQ, Marine Assurance, Quality, Procurement, Interface Management, and Package Teams, validating contractor readiness including vessels, personnel competence, procedures, equipment, and logistics.

Develop and manage readiness KPIs, trackers, and reporting to provide clear visibility to senior project leadership. Chair regular readiness meetings, identifying gaps, assigning actions, and driving timely close‑out to prevent mobilisation delays. Support key readiness requirements including SIMOPS, emergency response planning, PTW/ATW processes, welfare provisions, and regulatory compliance.

Prepare and lead Construction Readiness Workshops in the lead‑up to offshore campaigns, ensuring all pass/fail criteria are met before load‑out or mobilisation is authorised. Capture lessons learned and embed continuous improvement to strengthen future project delivery and offshore execution.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in offshore wind construction, installation, engineering or project management.
  • Strong understanding of offshore operations, including load‑out, transport, installation, commissioning and marine coordination.
  • Demonstrated capability in readiness assessments, technical assurance, and multi‑disciplinary coordination.
  • Experience with construction management processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of working across international and cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, able to manage complex readiness processes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluent English (additional EU language skills desirable).
