Site Services Engineer – Electrically Bias

Job Overview
Responsible for maintaining factory infrastructure and services, continuously improving and upgrading the plant, ensuring energy efficiency and optimal performance levels.
Hands‑on role with high responsibilities, reporting directly to the Engineering (Projects) Manager. Maintain records of all health and safety and regulatory checks carried out by staff and contractors, covering Fixed Wiring, Water Treatment and Factory Consumers (Water, Gas, Electricity, and Compressed Air).
Key Responsibilities
- Keep factory infrastructure and services running and enhance plant performance.
- Maintain records of health and safety and regulatory checks.
- Manage and coordinate related contractors and Capex requests for projects.
Qualifications
- Confident and clear communicator.
- Strong team ethos and collaborative working.
- Well organised with a methodical approach to prioritising workload and managing contractors.
- Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Good work ethic and attendance record.
- Comfortable completing associated paperwork, including Capex requests.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience working across electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines.
- Completed a time‑served engineering apprenticeship or Industrial Electrical & Mechanical qualification, and IEE wiring regulations.
