SME / Midmarket Sales Consultant

Location: Redhill office, RH1 1LJ

Salary: Up to £58,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Car Allowance

SES Business Water is seeking a commercially focused and driven SME / Midmarket Sales Consultant to join our team. This role requires an experienced sales professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and is motivated to contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively sell SES Business Water services and solutions to SME and Midmarket customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs) to maximise commercial opportunities
  • Manage inbound and outbound sales activity to develop and maintain a strong pipeline
  • Understand customer needs and deliver clear, tailored sales solutions
  • Prepare and submit high-quality tenders and customer proposals within deadlines
  • Take ownership of the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to contract close and handover
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including pricing and onboarding
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, including revenue, customer numbers, and site volumes
  • Generate leads for additional services, including Water Efficiency solutions (AMR)
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of the full sales cycle and key sales techniques
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills
  • Proven ability to engage customers and drive results

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the water or energy markets
  • Experience negotiating commercial contracts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
