About the Role

A growing private client team in South Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer to manage a varied caseload of wills, probate administration and related matters. The role offers flexible working arrangements, combining office and home work, and the opportunity to develop experience in lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute wills and other testamentary documents
• Administer probate and estate matters independently
• Handle lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection applications
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements
• Develop business through proactive client engagement and promotion of the department
• Use case‑management systems and IT tools to manage workload efficiently

Qualifications

• 2+ years private client experience (PQE)
• Strong background in wills, probate and estate administration
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in private client work
• Commercial mindset and proactive approach to business development
• Proficient IT skills and experience with case‑management systems
