Position: Project Manager (Hybrid – weekly travel to Bupa Place, M50 3SP). Full time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday). Salary: Competitive depending on experience.
Role Overview
The Project Manager will define, lead and manage the delivery of projects for Health Services, working cross‑functionally and ensuring all deadlines are met and projects are successfully implemented.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects using a recognised, sound development approach to ensure objectives are met within timescales and budget.
- Identify scope, define work streams and deliverables, set realistic timescales, and build an overall project plan.
- Identify and manage risk, impact, and dependencies, including communication and training.
- Report progress to the business sponsor and other stakeholders, ensuring issues are raised and addressed.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert, using market and business knowledge to shape and influence solution design.
- Manage the implementation of revised processes, involving all business areas and ensuring commitment, then provide post‑implementation support.
- Challenge project direction and scope, encourage radical opportunities, and assist in developing ideas, solutions, and resolutions to keep projects aligned with business priorities.
Qualifications
- Education to degree level or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; supportive, approachable, capable of managing and motivating others.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly MS Project.
- Highly motivated team player, able to work on own initiative.
- Self‑starter with enthusiasm and drive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication at all levels.
- Ask questions to understand others’ views and consult affected parties.
- Embraces new ways of working, open‑minded about the way forward.
