Come and join cardfactorys commercial team as an Assistant Buyer!
In this role, you’ll support our busy Buying team by helping to choose gifting products at great prices. We work part of the time from our office in Wakefield, about three days a week, and the rest from home, depending on what the business needs. Youll sometimes visit other shops to see what theyre selling, so its helpful if you have a driving licence.
As part of your day-to-day job, youll help plan and design products that people will love and help our customers celebrate all lifes moments. Youll share ideas with Buyers and help improve how our products perform. Youll speak with suppliers from around the world and work well with them, even if English isnt their first language.
Youll think of new product ideas and compare prices to make sure we stay competitive. As a key member of the team, youll help plan what goes into our shops and check samples to make sure they match what we asked for. Most of all, youll work together with people all over the company to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Were looking for someone whos worked in a buying or similar role before. If youve worked with gifts, fashion, or products, thats a bonus. Youll be a confident communicator, aswell as being organised and managing your time well.
