HLA in Computing – System Development and Support
We have a vacancy for the Position of:
The ideal candidate will be motivated, responsible and organised enabling them to become part of an existing Team who ensure the smooth running and development of our systems
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Full-time (including College Day)
The Role:As an ICT Higher Level Apprentice (HLA), you will join our IT team to provide support to our users while developing practical technical skills. You will learn to resolve day-to-day IT issues, manage infrastructure, and contribute to company efficiency, all while working towards a recognized ICT qualification.
Reporting to Systems Manager:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- ERP & Systems Development
- Develop software solutions
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Cyber Security
- Networking
- Testing new features in software and applications
- Create training documentation for new applications and system upgrades
- User Management: Assist with account set-ups and management
- General Business support
Criteria:
- Have applied to (or currently) studying an Ulster University Foundation Degree in Computing at South West College
- Interest in coding, specifically C#, Xaml, SQL
- Logical thought process with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and interest to improve company systems
- Has a keen interest for continuous development
- Multi-disciplinary for both Hardware and software
- High attention to detail & Good organisational skills
Full Training will be provided to assist the integration of this new Team member.
