Finance & Systems Administrator
We have a vacancy for the Position of:
The ideal candidate will be motivated, responsible and organised enabling them to become part of an existing Team who ensure the smooth running of our Finance and System activities.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday (Full-time)
Rate of Pay:Experience dependent
The Role:Handling the day-to-day financial operations. Handling core transactions, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Responsible for accurate reconciliations, maintaining clear communication with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
Reporting to: Systems Manager
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supplier invoice processing invoice entry, PO matching, statement reconciliations
- Processing Supplier payments
- Customer invoice processing- POD matching, Portal management, invoice posting, invoice disputes/ credits
- Reconciliation of Sales Ledger accounts
- Overseeing debt management – liaising with account managers and customers regarding outstanding balances
- Escalate high-risk or persistent debt issues
- Daily Bank reconciliations
- Dealing with finance-related queries internally or by email
- Handle telephone queries / reception and liaise with internal departments
- Provide support across the wider finance and production functions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controls
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role and level of responsibility within the organisation.
Criteria:
Previous experience not essential provided enthusiasm to learn is strong.
- Professional and confident communicator
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of financial systems and processes maybe beneficial
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads effectively
- Commercially aware, with the ability to exercise sound judgement
Full Training will be provided to assist the integration of this new Team member.
