Job Role & Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG/Manufacturing organisation. Working as part of a team of experienced engineers, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving high-speed production equipment, ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on high-speed production machinery
  • Complete fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs across a range of production equipment
  • Support planned preventative maintenance activities
  • Identify issues and implement effective engineering solutions
  • Ensure machinery performance, quality standards, and safety procedures are maintained
  • Work collaboratively with engineering teams to minimise downtime and improve reliability

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing/FMCG environment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills
  • Experience with fault finding and problem solving on production machinery
  • Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance systems
  • Understanding of automation and PLC control systems
  • A strong awareness of quality, health, and safety standards

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working with high-speed manufacturing equipment
  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of automated production systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits Include:

  • Salary up to £56,000
  • 3 on 3 off shift pattern (Days & Nights)
