Position: Consultant in Intensive Care (single specialty / dual trained with Anaesthesia or Emergency Medicine / or completing CESR application)
Contract: PermanentWork pattern: 10 sessions per week (ITU 3 days per week)Salary: £113,565 – £150,569 per annumClosing Date: Tuesday 21st July 2026
Qualifications:
- Fully registered with the General Medical Council and on the Specialist Register.
- Must obtain CCT within six months of the date of interview or have CESR application underway.
- Highly motivated clinician with the ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly expanding multidisciplinary acute care environment.
Responsibilities:
- Involved in the department’s undergraduate, postgraduate and other appropriate educational activities.
- Responsible for the running of the clinical service, integrating this with the department as a whole and ensuring appropriate communication with anaesthetists, other specialities, managers, and hospital committees.
- Contribute to the achievement of relevant aspects of the Trust’s contractual obligations and business plans.
