We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Senior Furniture Designer to join a highly regarded London-based interior architecture studio, recognised for delivering exceptional design-led environments for luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, and private residences across the globe.
We are looking for an experienced designer with around 7–10 years of expertise in luxury hospitality, high-end residential interiors, furniture, or product design. A background in industrial design would be an added advantage
The ideal candidate will combine strong creative vision with technical knowledge, supported by a thorough understanding of furniture design, materials, craftsmanship, and manufacturing processes. They will be confident developing original concepts, creating compelling design stories, and managing projects from initial concept through to production.
This role will focus primarily on prestigious hospitality and residential projects, while also contributing to the evolution of the studio’s in-house furniture and product collections. We are seeking someone with a distinctive design approach and an appreciation of both contemporary and classic design influences.
Key responsibilities include interpreting design briefs and developing bespoke furniture, lighting, and product concepts for luxury environments. The position requires excellent conceptual and visualisation skills, with the ability to develop ideas through sketching, 3D modelling, rendering, and technical detailing. A strong understanding of high-end furniture manufacturing and artisanal production methods is essential.
The successful candidate will prepare detailed technical drawing packages, review prototypes and production samples, and ensure all designs meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics. They will also oversee furniture production packages, coordinate with project schedules, and work closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and artisans throughout the development process. Occasional travel may be required.
Applicants should be proficient in AutoCAD, Rhino, KeyShot, SketchUp, or similar software, with the ability to work effectively across both 2D and 3D platforms. Experience with alternative software packages will also be considered.
If this opportunity aligns with your experience and interests, we would be delighted to receive your CV and portfolio.
Following successful completion of the probationary period, the role offers two days of remote working per week.
