Key Responsibilities

• Deliver complex projects from initiation to completion
• Bring thought leadership and think outside the box in terms of setting project approach
• Experience on VMWare / Active Directory / Wintel
• Build relationships with multiple stakeholders involved
• Stakeholder management – ensure expectations are clearly set and managed throughout the programme lifecycle (‘under‑promise’ and ‘over‑deliver’ approach)
• Chair meetings with cross‑supplier attendees with differing business agendas
• Manage both Fixed Price and T&M engagements without exposing Cognizant to commercial risk whilst maximizing revenue and margin

Key Skills and Experience

• Experience of managing Infrastructure projects
• Competent leader of Project resources (able to assimilate multiple work streams, identify common challenges/dependencies and advise on effective management approaches)
• Ability to manage large complex projects in multivendor environment
• Project cost estimation, budgeting and control
• Ability to foresee risk and manage them in advance
• RAID management
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at different levels within client organization
• Ability to create a program roadmap
• Setting up PMO and reporting functions
• Hold a discussion with technical team and managers
• Running KPI based model with risk
• Credible and competent within senior management meetings (both internal & external)
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management and its application to projects/programmes
• Experienced user of Microsoft Project Suite (specifically including Word, Excel & Microsoft Project)
