Site Manager

Overview

We are recruiting a Site Manager to oversee sub‑contractors and self‑delivery work on sites, mainly in the commercial and residential sectors in the Brighton area. It is an ongoing project involving groundworks, RC frame, etc. Estimated completion time is 9–12 months.

Freelance position. Salary: Open for negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Managing self‑delivery work
• Managing sub‑contractors
• Ensuring the onsite team has what they need and are performing to high standards
• Reporting daily to Contracts Manager
• Representing the Company on high‑profile projects
• Conducting yourself in a presentable and friendly manner
• Absolute compliance with all Company Health and Safety policies

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of 5 years site manager experience in complete projects (from start to end)
• Have valid SSSTS and First Aid certificates
• Have a valid CSCS card
• Have good personal skills
• Have an excellent communicative manner
• Be a great team player
• Have an understanding of site H&S requirements

Preferred Qualification

• Have a degree in Civil Engineering
