Service Delivery Manager – Waste Services
We are looking for an experienced waste management professional to shape the future delivery of our client’s waste & recycling services.
The Service Delivery Manager will manage and develop the in‑house operational services, leading a team of 150 staff within our refuse and recycling collection service while putting residents and customers at the heart of our services. The role requires excellent leadership, operational efficiency implementation, and the ability to maximise productivity while delivering a quality public service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop in‑house operational services for waste and recycling collection.
- Lead and oversee a team of 150 staff, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Implement operational efficiencies to maximise productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Deliver quality public service with a focus on resident and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate commercial acumen and political awareness in daily operations.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in the waste industry.
- Demonstrable leadership skills and ability to manage large teams.
- Strong operational management background and ability to implement efficiencies.
- Commercially minded with political awareness.
