Kinderland is growing!! We’re looking for a fantastic Room Leader/Senior Early Years Practitioner to join our lovely team! We are seeking dynamic leaders with a genuine passion for guiding their room and creating the best opportunities for children. Kinderland Day Nurseries is a family‑run establishment that has been offering high‑quality childcare in Croydon since 1995. We’re looking for a fantastic Room Leader to join our lovely Preschool Room, with plenty of opportunities to grow and potentially lead other rooms in the future too!

Qualifications and skills

To be considered for the Senior Early Years Practitioner role you must have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification and good knowledge of the EYFS. In addition, you must possess the following key skills and experience:

Safeguarding

We have named persons within the nursery who take lead responsibility for safeguarding and coordinate child protection and welfare issues, known as the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL). There is always at least one designated person on duty during the opening hours of the setting. All applicants should be aware that a huge part of the role is ensuring children are continuously safeguarded from any harm. Any job offers will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, thorough referencing, an induction programme, and 3 months’ probation period. All successful candidates will be given lots of training upon starting their role.
