The SEND Enrichment and Engagement Officer will be responsible for leading learner enrichment and development for SEND learners across the College.
Day to day duties of the role
- Coordinate the College’s SEND enrichment programme – engaging SEND learners in the development of the offer to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with and build positive links with local community groups and service providers to enhance the enrichment offer.
- Involvement in and commitment to other learner engagement related tasks. Experience of successfully engaging with young people and organising events/activities through a voluntary and/or paid role.
- Ability to maintain an independent viewpoint, on behalf of the student body.
- Articulate and able to communicate professionally with colleagues and other professionals at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Ability to cope with a challenging and demanding workload making good use of resources to support task completion.
