Sports Manager

About the role

Fit For Sport is looking for an Activity Manager to manage the extended provision in Brent (25hrs a week) and Kids Camp during the holidays (40hrs a week). You will lead activity camps, motivate and inspire children to get active while having fun, and progress your career through a range of sport development training.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop and mentor a team of Activity Leaders and Activity Assistants.
• Deliver and lead exciting activity programmes for children using resources provided by Fit For Sport.
• Motivate and inspire children aged 4 to 12 years.
• Oversee auditing of resources and requests for replacement and new resources.
• Engage with parents and teachers regularly to maintain relationships and attract more children to physical activity.

Essential Requirements

• Experience supervising children in a school or a leisure centre environment.
• Possess managerial background demonstrating planning and coordinating skills.
• Minimum Level 2 in Sports Coaching, Activity Leadership or Child Care (relevant degree routes accepted).

Desirable Requirements

• Well organised with strong leadership and management skills.
• Positive role model at all times, able to make learning and work fun.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and as an individual, maintaining a professional approach to work.
